Changing battery
Remove Phillips-head screw.
Separate housing halves carefully.
Replace batteries with lithium batteries of same type and size.
Make sure that polarity is correct.
Reassemble housing.

If a remote unit is being replaced, the new one must be coded.
Only two remote units can be coded for each system.
If a new unit is being coded, the existing remote unit must also be re-coded.
In addition to the two remote units, coding also requires two vehicle keys.
Switch ignition on.
Using second key, slowly unlock trunk lid, turning key smoothly in lock cylinder.
Activate both buttons on remote unit for at least 4 seconds.
The system should now be functional.
Lock vehicle again at trunk lock, turning key slowly and smoothly in lock.
Activate both buttons on second remote unit for at least 4 seconds.
When the coding has been completed, the radio-operated central locking system is functional.
After switching the ignition off, the radio-operated remote unit is ready for use.
